One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism
September 20, 2009 Ephesians 4:1-6; Acts 18:24-19:5; Colossians 2:11-12; Genesis 17:9-14.
Rev. George C. Hammond
We are happy to provide audio recordings of our sermons online as a ministry, especially for those who are providentially hindered from attending worship services this week. God speaks to us through the preaching of his word, and we pray that he will speak to you through the listening of these sermons. But we also pray that those who visit here will become part of the fellowship of a local church. Listening to sermons online is no substitute for being a part of a church family, committed to love and serve one another.
The following is a collection of archived sermons (prior to the current sermon series) preached by Rev. George C. Hammond, pastor at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Leesburg, Virginia. Reverend Hammond earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nyack College, Nyack, New Yourk, and a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition to 17 years of pastoral and preaching experience, Rev. Hammond serves as Chairman of the Candidates and Credentials Committee of the Presbytery of the MidAtlantic (OPC) as well as being a conference speaker, and the creator of 1T4-8, a father/son biblical manhood training program. Previously he had developed and implemented a chaplaincy program in the local police department and served as Senior Chaplain for five years. He currently lives in Northern Virginia with his wife Donna and four children.
