The Bethel Buzz

CHURCH OFFICE MOVE - Bethel's administrative offices moved to a new location on Main Street in Round Hill, in the same building Pastor Hammond has been using for his own office. This space is much larger and allows the church administrator and pastor to work in the same location, and provides meeting space. In March, an open house was held to invite the congregation to visit and see it for themselves. We are thankful for God's provision of office space to use until our new building is ready to be occupied.

MISSIONARY VISIT - We were blessed by a visit from the Okken family, missionaries to Uganda, in February. A group enjoyed diner with the Okkens, followed by a thought-provoking and compelling presentation by David on the gospel outreach to the people of Karamoja.

FATHER/DAUGHTER VALENTINE EVENT - Bethel held its 6th annual Father/Daughter Valentine Dance in February. With 58 men and their girls dancing, eating, laughing and talking, a wonderful, magical evening was enjoyed by all. A special thank you to all who volunteered their time to make this very special event possible.

ANNUAL MEETING - The church's annual meeting was held in January. This was a wonderful time of sharing and giving thanks for all God has done during the past year through the various ministries of Bethel Church.

SCOUTING ACHIEVEMENTS - Congratulations to Jake Rucker, who has achieved the rank of Life Scout, to Trey Hammond who was elected to the position of Patrol Leader, and to Caleb Goze who was elected as Instructor of his troop. Well done!

AN HONOR AND A CHALLENGE - Congratulations to Pastor Hammond who was accepted into and is now enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry degree program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Let's pray for our pastor as he seeks to equip himself to further the kingdom and bless the congregation at Bethel.
